These frames are only available in the UK due to size and weight.


We only offer a small range, they're simple, individually made by hand at our own carpentry workshop.


They have a subtle, minimalist simplicity.
Available in black, white or natural pine, all with a silky smooth hand waxed finish.

The artwork is mounted on conservation grade mountboard, with a bevel-cut window. The board is an unbleached natural white

That's a biscuit joint before assembly. The corners of my frames are biscuit jointed for ultimate strength and rigidity.


We use 45 x 45mm FSC certified pine for all our frames. Everything is made at our own carpentry workshop at Black Mountain Gallery.

Frames are glazed with 3mm optical grade cast acrylic, preferred by most museums and galleries over glass for its greater protection and safety factors

These are the aluminium security hangers I use for medium and large artworks. They carry far greater weight than the traditional cord, and are invisible behind the frame when installed, unlike the old "mirror plates" which attach at the sides


We use traditional hanging cord for smaller frames.
